How many people can the tent accommodate?
The tent can comfortably accommodate 100-200 guests.
Do you host the ceremony on site?
Yes, we have a few different onsite locations for your ceremony.
Can we host a rehearsal dinner on site?
Yes, we have numerous options for a rehearsal dinner from a BBQ to Clam Bake to Italian Style. We can send along menus and ideas for you.
Do you help with vendors?
We have a full preferred vendor list to offer you and our assistance.
What is the average cost per person?
This really depends on exactly what you want in terms of food and beverage. Call us directly and we can send you a customized quote.
What is included with the cost of the tent?
The tent, tables, chairs, dance floor, two chandeliers and four strands of bistro lighting.
Who does the set up?
We do the set up for the tent and ceremony. If there is any additional set up involved beyond our normal, such as additional chair rentals requiring us to remove all of our chairs, stringing of lights, arch set up, there will be an additional fee charged.
What is there for friends and family to do in the area?
The Quechee Gorge is just a short walk from the inn. Nearby towns of Hanover, Woodstock and Norwich offer quaint town walks, antique stores and restaurants. There are also several breweries in the area, from the well-know Long Trail and Harpoon to River Roost, a small but renowned operation just down the road in White River Junction.
Where else can our guests stay?
The closest hotel is the Quality Inn at Quechee Gorge. However, there are half a dozen places to stay in a 15 minute radius ranging from small bed and breakfasts to large chain motels.
What time do we host our ceremony?
We recommend a 4:30pm start but as with everything, there's flexibility depending on your needs.
How long is the reception?
Five hours, from the start of cocktail hour.
How late can we be outside?
10:00pm - but don't worry, the party can move inside!
Can we have an after party?
Yes, we're happy to reopen the indoor bar from 10:00pm-11:00pm to keep the celebration going.
How late can the bar stay open?
11:00pm on Friday and 12:00am on Saturday - quiet time by 1:00am.
Do we have an on-site wedding coordinator?
Yes, we offer a personal wedding coordinator from the day you tour through your wedding day.
Can your Chef accommodate allergies?
Yes, as long as we know ahead of time we can accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions.
Can we bring in our own wine or beer for the reception?
No. This is not allowed under Vermont Liquor Law.
For breakfast on Sunday, can we invite guests not staying here?
The more the merrier! We love a good farewell brunch. Outside guests are $14.99/pp and we will need a head count in advance.
